The AI learns from two things — examples first, rules second. Examples are what make the output actually sound like you.

Examples (most important)

3–5 real pieces of your writing — posts, emails, anything that sounds like you at your best. Separated by a blank line. This is where the AI learns your rhythm and vocabulary.

Rules (optional but useful)

Add below your examples. Things to avoid, structural preferences, tone notes. E.g. "No food metaphors. Short sentences. Direct, not inspirational."

Takes about 5 seconds. You can edit everything after.

Everything you need to get the most out of Lucent Star AI.

1
Pick your industry and topic
Select your industry from the dropdown, then type your topic in the text field. Be specific — "why cold outreach is broken in SaaS" gets better results than "sales tips".
2
Choose your tone and format
Select a tone (Authoritative, Conversational, Provocative) and a format (Thought leadership, List post, Story). These shape how the post is written.
3
Hit Write my post
One click and Lucent Star AI generates a complete, scored LinkedIn post in under 60 seconds. You don't need to do anything while it runs.
4
Edit, score and approve
Review the post in the editor. You'll see a quality score across four dimensions — Hook, Insight, Clarity and Closing. Edit the text, re-score if needed, then hit Approve when you're happy.
5
Schedule or export
Add a scheduled date in your post dashboard, or export your content calendar as a CSV or ICS file to import into your scheduling tool.
Be specific with your topic. The more precise your input, the sharper the output. "Why most agencies underprice retainers" will outperform "agency pricing" every time.
Use a contrarian angle. Posts that challenge a common assumption perform better on LinkedIn than posts that confirm one.
Upload your brand voice guide. If you have a tone of voice document, upload it before generating. The AI will match your style far more closely.
Write in your voice. The voice profile has two parts — examples and rules — and examples are the more important one. Paste 3–5 real pieces of your writing. The AI reads them to learn your vocabulary and rhythm.
Pay attention to the Hook score. The opening line determines whether anyone reads past the first sentence. If Hook scores below 6, regenerate or rewrite the first line before approving.
Edit before you approve. The generated post is a strong first draft — not a final product. Read it out loud. Cut anything that sounds like a press release.
Batch your content. Generate 4–5 posts in one session, approve them all, then schedule across the week. It's faster than writing one post at a time.
How long does generation take?
Under 60 seconds from clicking Write my post to seeing a finished, scored post. The post itself appears first — the quality score loads a few seconds later.
Can I edit the post after it's generated?
Yes. The post opens in a full editor as soon as it's generated. Edit freely, then hit Re-score to update your quality score based on the revised text.
What does the quality score mean?
Every post is scored out of 40 across four dimensions — Hook (opening strength), Insight (depth of ideas), Clarity (readability), and Closing (impact of the final line). Each is scored out of 10. A total above 28 is solid; above 32 is excellent.
How do I schedule a post?
Approve the post first, then open your Post dashboard. Click on a post to set a scheduled date and time. You can also drag posts into dates directly from the Content calendar.
Does it post to LinkedIn automatically?
No. Lucent Star AI is a writing and planning tool — it does not connect to your LinkedIn account or post on your behalf. Use the export options to move your schedule into your publishing tool.
What happens when I run out of posts?
Your post allowance resets on the first day of each month. If you need more posts before then, you can upgrade your plan from the account page.
What should I put in my voice profile?
Two things, in this order. First, examples — paste 3–5 real pieces of your own writing, separated by a blank line. Second, style rules — a list of preferences and things to avoid. Examples are the most important input; rules alone produce something competent but generic.
